ABOUT F.E.Y.R.E PRODUCTIONS
As the CEO of the newly developed music label “F.E.Y.R.E. Productions,” Ryan Feyre has made it his mission to find and develop hip hop artists from the area so their voice can be heard by as many people as possible. Ryan accepts any type of artist, whether it be a rapper trying to get its work off the ground, a producer who wants to make a name for themselves, or a writer looking to contribute think pieces and album reviews.
Ryan's had a passion for hip hop since he was 10 years old. There was a lot he needed to learn, especially growing up as a suburban white kid from Massachusetts. He needed to understand the culture and its impact before anything else. Rappers like Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Kanye West and Kid Cudi have had a major influence on how this label. Ryan respects the hard worker, and as a result, he spent all of high school studying producers’ styles and aesthetic. Upon entering college, Ryan dug deeper within the underground hip hop scene, and fell in love with the boiling pot of sounds within each section of the country (specifically Houston and California). His hometown of New England is also starting to bubble beyond local areas. It's time to capture everything east side of New York.
As someone who has written for numerous music sites including The Young Folks, Rap Reviews, and Atwood Magazine, Ryan has learned how to look at the importance of collaboration. Performing is one of the most important aspects of the genre, so finding an artist who can put life into a crowd is integral for creating a successful label. All of the best artists are able to do that. The goal of F.E.Y.R.E Productions tis to find that local talent and develop a substantial blogosphere for passionate hip hop writers like myself.
